Huchuy Qosqo 1 Day Hike

Its name is Quechua, in the Inca language, (“Little Cusco”). Itinerary

Huchuy Qosqo

This one-day hike begins in the middle of small Andean villages of farmers, shepherds and weavers who continue to preserve their ancient customs and traditions. In the morning, we will begin a slight 1-hour ascent to the highest point of the day, at 3,800 m ( 12,123 feet).

During the walk, we will enjoy the magical Andean landscape where you will observe llamas and alpacas as hosts of the place, the incredible Balcon del Inca, one of the best places to enjoy the magnitude of the sacred valley of the Incas.

After a well-deserved rest in a picturesque location and capturing incredible images, we will cross the impressive canyon of Puma Punku (“The Gate of the Puma”). From here, we will walk along an original section of the Inca Trail to Huchuy Qosqo, we will be admired by the great work of stone architecture that the Incas did. The Inca Trail is one of the most recognized routes worldwide, having the opportunity to walk For a place like this there really is no comparison. We follow the Inca trail and a large stone and mud portal will connect us to Llaqta Punku as the main entrance to HUCHUY QOSQO.
