If you are planning on hiking the Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountains, it is highly recommended that you let us know at the time of booking the tour. The permits are sold months in advance with a capacity of up to 200 hikers a day.

Your epic day trip to Machu Picchu begins with a pick-up at 0330 in the morning from your hotel in Cusco. Then in our private transport, we will be driving you through the Sacred Valley of the Incas to Ollantaytambo train station.
Here, you will be boarding the train to Aguas Calientes. The train ride offers jaw-dropping views of highland Andean villages along the shores of the Urubamba river, snuggled between the snow-capped Andean peaks.
Once in Aguas Calientes, our crew will be meeting you on arrival and will be transferring you to the bus station. Here, you will be embarking on a 25 minutes bus ride up the hill to the Inca Citadel.
Our crew will assist you in passing through the security check and entering the citadel of Machu Picchu. You will witness the golden rays of the morning spreading light on the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.
The tour-hours guided tour of the complex begins with a brief introduction to the civilization and brief information on the animals and plants found here. We will be visiting the prime sites like the remains of royal quarters, ceremonial sites, temples, and more.
After the tour, you will have some free time to explore the citadel on your own. If you have booked to hike Machu Picchu Mountain or Huayna Picchu mountain, our guide will be directing you to the respective trail head.
Alternatively, you can also hike to the sun gate. This is the entrance point for those hiking the Ina Trail to Machu Picchu. You will get a panoramic view of the Inca citadel from there. Also, you don’t need any permit and it is free to hike.
Once you have contemplated the stunning views of Machu Picchu, we will be exiting the citadel and will be taking the bus down to Aguas Calientes town.
You will have some free time to walk around the town or stop for lunch at one of the local restaurants.
Later in the evening, you will be taking the train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo. Our representative will be meeting you on arrival and will be transferring you to your hotel in Cusco. We will be reaching by 09:00 PM.
