Tour Details

Discover one of the most enigmatic cities of the Inca culture, Machupicchu, nestled on top of the mountains at the top of the Urubamba mountain range. Day 1Arrival In Lima

Coordinating the time of your arrival in the city of Lima, one of our local representatives will be waiting for you, and then you will be transferred to the hotel in Lima, later you will have a welcome talk by your tour guide.

Day 2Lima - City Tour and Museums

We begin with a visit to the Huaca Pucllana, a very old construction located in the center of the city of Lima. To then walk through the important places of Lima, we will visit Plaza San Martín, Plaza de Armas, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Cathedral Basilica, colonial mansions and their mostly cedar wood balconies. Also the convent of San Francisco, Museo Larco, a place that houses around 45,000.00 artifacts from pre-Inca cultures and the Inca empire of our ancient Peru.

After enjoying a delicious lunch, we will visit the Gold Museum of Peru and also the World Weapons Museum. Both museums preserve a large valuable collection of elaborate gold works and also ancient weapons. After our tour of both museums, we return to the hotel.

Day 3Departure to Arequipa - City Tour Arequipa

very early in the morning we go to the airport and take the flight to Arequipa, the city of volcanoes or white city, at your arrival time you will meet our agency representative and then drive you to the hotel in Arequipa where you will get an informative briefing about the tours in Arequipa and the Colca Canyon, then you will leave your luggage at the hotel and we will begin with our city tour. We will visit the Carmen Alto viewpoint, where you will have a great view of the city and the mountains around it, as well as see pre-Inca constructions, the yanahuara arches, the church of San Juan Bautista and finally you will visit the monastery of Santa Catalina , which is a large building founded in 1579.

Day 4Arequipa

After our breakfast we will travel towards Chivay, it is located in the Colca Valley, on the way we will pass through Pampa Cañahuas, where the Aguada Blanca National Reserve is located, within this reserve the vicuña is protected and also families of llamas and alpacas. We will pass through the swamps or marshes that are home to birds of the area and migratory birds, we continue through Chuccura and Patapampa until we reach the viewpoint of the volcanoes. At approximately 2:30 pm we will arrive in Chivay, where we will have our lunch and a short rest to then go to the hotel in Chivay, at night we will taste our dinner and then rest.

Day 5Arequipa

After breakfast at the hotel, at 6:00 am, you will depart in the direction of the Cruz del Cóndor, site of the majestic Andean condor that is often seen here, gliding through the skies and skirting the great mountains and crossing the canyon of the colca, this place is considered deeper than the Colorado Canyon. We will pass through communities that still use the agricultural terraces that their ancestors built, after enjoying this majestic place we will return to Chivay to have lunch, then travel to the city of Puno, to Lake Titicaca for approximately six hours in our private transport, Heading to your hotel and have a good rest.

Day 6Arequipa

At 7:00 am our transport will take you to the main port of the lagoon, this day our tour will be all day visiting the floating islands of Uros and Taquile Island, you will meet and learn about the daily life of these local inhabitants and how these people have preserved the ancient technique of weaving the islands for centuries. After Uros we go to our next destination which is the island of Taquile, this place is characterized by its great weavers and their techniques to create fantastic colored blankets, we will walk around this island enjoying its incredible views, you will have the opportunity to try your local food for lunch (lunch is not included). After that, you will take the boat back to Puno, arriving at the hotel at approximately 5:30 pm.

We are entering Inca territory, from Lake Titicaca where it is said that the origin of the Incas was, to the capital of the Inca empire, the city of Puma, Cusco, and what better way to do it on board the PeruRail TitiCaca Train will make this a unforgettable and unique experience in life. Day 8Cusco

We wake up in the capital of the empire and the first destination to visit is the most impressive archaeological complex made by the Incas, Sacsayhuaman, giant blocks of limestone nine meters / 30 feet high were used to build this great temple dedicated to their gods. Day 9Cusco

Today we visit the upper part of the sacred valley of the Incas, visiting the most important places of this beautiful journey, such as chinchero, you will learn the ancient techniques of painting the Andean looms, the 4,000 thousand salt ponds of Maras, the adaptation laboratory of Moray plants and the museum city of Ollantaytambo.

 The first place to visit Chinchero, with its Catholic temple on the Inca terraces and its coexistence with both religions and customs makes Chinchero an unmissable place, then we go to the Maras ponds, used and consumed by pre-Inca and Inca cultures, the Surrounding communities still extract the salt using ancient techniques.

After visiting this picturesque place, we will visit Moray. The circular terraces of Moray were used as an “experimental plant laboratory” for the Incas, located in the upper part of the mountains. The next place to visit is Ollantaytambo, another impressive place in the Sacred Valley for its temple of the sun, whose construction weighs more than 100 tons, these rocks were brought from the top of the mountain more than 5 miles / 8km away, we will walk through its very narrow streets of this beautiful place and then take the train to the city of Machu Picchu, upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 10Cusco - Machu Picchu

In the morning we will have breakfast at the hotel and then take the bus that will take us back to this magical place, we can enjoy it once again but this time in its maximum splendor and with enough time, your guide will give you a complete explanation. of this magnificent place, visiting the most important precincts and temples of the city of Machupicchu.

After the guided visit and finish the tour with your guide, the people who booked to visit the Huaynapicchu mountain or the Machupicchu mountain will have time to enjoy these magnificent places on their own, later after your tour please take the bus heading to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included) and depending on the train’s departure time, it is possible that you can tour the small very touristic city of Aguas Calientes.

The train will take you to Ollantaytambo where our driver will meet you at the exit of the train station to take you back to the city of Cusco, exactly at the door of your hotel.

This day has 2 options:

Option 1: have the whole day free to enjoy the tranquility of your stay in the city of Cusco.

Option 2:

Visit the famous mountain of 7 colors called Vinicunca.

Option mountain of colors, the pick up from your hotel will be early in the morning at 4:00 am, the course of the trip is about 3 hours to the hiking point, and then walk for 1h:30m until you reach the viewpoint of the mountain of colors, You will be dazzled by its natural beauty and because it is one of the most visited tourist destinations by people, after enjoying this magical place we will return for our lunch and return to the city of Cusco, we will arrive in Cusco at 3:30 p.m. to rest after at your hotel.
