After the pick-up at your hotel we will go to the sacred valley of the Incas, we will have a stop in the town of Pisac where we will have breakfast and then continue to Huaran, we will start climbing gradually for 3 hours until we reach the small town of Cancha Cancha (3,901 m / 12,801 feet) . after settling in their respective tents, we will have some hot drinks such as chocolate or coffee with their delicious snacks, we will also have the opportunity to visit a local family and learn about their customs and traditions, for that our guide who also speaks Quechua will interpret for you, after a magnificent day we will have our dinner and then to sleep sheltered by the stars.
The awakening will be with a cup of coffee, chocolate or coca tea, today is the day of our isolation from civilization, we will start with a delicious breakfast to start this tour that will be about 7 hours of many panoramic views, the highest point will be the pachacuteq pass (4,500 m / 14,800 ft). With impressive views of glaciers, lakes, colorful mountains, herds of llamas and alpacas. After enjoying the summit and its beautiful landscapes, we descend for 3 hours until we reach our camp located in the community of Quiswarani, (3,700 m / 12,138 feet). A beautiful place that houses the seven waterfalls, In our camp enjoy some hot drinks and snacks before dinner and then rest
The lares trek continues , waking up in the middle of the mountains, this day we begin the 3-hour ascent until we reach the Willqaqasa pass, (4,200 m / 13,778 feet) enjoying a spectacular view of the colored lagoons and the snow-capped peaks of Colquecruz and Pitusiray. They are impressive snow-capped mountains to be able to admire from this point. We continue our walk in the direction of a place totally isolated from the other communities, it is a place that only Exploreperutreks offers, we will walk on the blade of the mountains until we reach the heart lagoon, where we will have lunch and then continue descending until we reach the thermal baths of lares.
After enjoying the thermal baths and completely relaxing, we take our private transport to Ollantaytambo 2.5 hours, where we have dinner in one of the restaurants of this picturesque Andean town and spend the night in our hotel.
Your guide will come to your hotel to pick you up at 5:30 am. We head towards the train station Ollantaytambo and you will have an hour on the train to enjoy the spectacular scenery of the sacred valley and its majestic Urubamba River.
Your guide will tell you where your trek begins and you will get off at the stop at km 104 (2,000 m / 6,560 feet above sea level) and cross the Urubamba River by a nice pedestrian bridge, the walk ascends little by little where you will have a wide view of the Urubamba River until you reach the citadel of Wiñayhuayna (2,600 m / 8,500 feet above sea level) . We are walking through an exuberant subtropical jungle within the national park, in addition to the incredible flora and fauna of this beautiful place.
After lunch, you will have a slightly flat walk to the Portal del Sol, we will have a break to appreciate this fantastic place and then descend for 45 min to the same city of Machupicchu, Take your time to enjoy this magical experience in Machupicchu before taking the bus to the town of Aguas Calientes to check into your hotel. At night you will have a delicious dinner and rest after having a day with many experiences.
*Your travel bag can be sent from the Ollantayttambo station directly to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu)
In the morning we will have breakfast at the hotel and then take the bus that will take us back to this magical place, we can enjoy it once again but this time in its maximum splendor and with enough time, your guide will give you a complete explanation. of this magnificent place, visiting the most important precincts and temples of the Inca city of Machupicchu.
After the guided tour and finish the tour with your guide, the people who booked to visit the Huaynapicchu mountain or the Machupicchu mountain will have time to enjoy these magnificent places on their own, later after your tour please take the bus to to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included) and depending on the train’s departure time, it is possible that you can tour the small very touristic city of Aguas Calientes.
The train will take you to Ollantaytambo where our driver will meet you at the exit of the train station to take you back to the city of Cusco, exactly at the door of your hotel.
