Early in the morning after picking you up at your hotel we will go to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, we will have a stop in the town of Pisac where we will have breakfast and then continue to the town of Quiswar, we will start climbing gradually for 3 hours until we reach the Willqaqasa pass, (4,200 m / 13,778 feet)enjoying a spectacular view of the lagoons of colors and the snow-capped mountains .We continue our walk in the direction of a place totally isolated from the other communities, it is a place that only Explore Peru Treks offers,we reach our first camp where our hot drinks and snacks await us before resting. Saywa Trek It is a new alternative to visit Machupicchu.
The awakening will be with a cup of coffee, chocolate or coca tea, today is the day where our next challenge awaits us, the yanay pass, we will start with a delicious breakfast to start this tour that will be about 6 hours of many panoramic views, the highest point will be the yanay pass (4,500 m / 14,800 ft). With impressive views of glaciers, lakes, colorful mountains, herds of llamas and alpacas. After enjoying the summit and its beautiful landscapes, we will skirt the pass in the direction of the Cochaywillok lagoon. A beautiful place that houses only one local family. In our camp, enjoy some hot drinks and snacks before dinner and then rest.
The adventure continues, this day we begin with the walk on the blade of the mountains, a spectacular walk with panoramic views of the snowy peaks of both valleys until we reach the Saywa viewpoint, a spectacular view of the entire Sacred Valley of the Incas, after enjoy this beautiful place we will descend until we reach the base of the Urubamba river and then take our transport that will take us to Ollantaytambo, we will have dinner and take our train to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu).
In the morning we will have breakfast at the hotel and then take the bus that will take us back to this magical place, we can enjoy it once again but this time in its maximum splendor and with enough time, your guide will give you a complete explanation. of this magnificent place, visiting the most important precincts and temples of the Inca city of Machupicchu.
After the guided tour and finish the tour with your guide, the people who booked to visit the Huaynapicchu mountain or the Machupicchu mountain will have time to enjoy these magnificent places on their own, later after your tour please take the bus to to the town of Aguas Calientes for lunch (not included) and depending on the train’s departure time, it is possible that you can tour the small very touristic city of Aguas Calientes.
The train will take you to Ollantaytambo where our driver will meet you at the exit of the train station to take you back to the city of Cusco, exactly at the door of your hotel.
