Itinerary

Day 1Cusco - Upis

We start the day with the pick up from your hotel at 6am, our private transport will take us to the upis community, near the small school of this community and it is in this place where we start the walk, the route is slightly flat with a super view of the great snow-capped Ausangate and its surroundings, it is the ideal habitat for llamas and alpacas, the path will take us to the upis camp (4200 masl) near our camp there are some thermal baths, which is optional to enjoy this beautiful place .

Day 2Upis - Puca Cocha - Ananta

The awakening will be 5:00 am with a cup of coffee or coca tea to activate our energy and then go on to have our delicious breakfast, we begin our hike gradually uphill until we reach the Arapa pass (4989 masl -16567 feet) in the course of the walk we will observe the shepherds of alpacas and llamas, the snowy Ausagate covered with a lot of snow and if we are lucky, we will be able to see condors, chinchillas and vicuñas. In addition to enjoying colorful lagoons until we reach pucaqocha where we will be served our lunch in front of the lagoons. After taking photos of this fantastic place and a rest in front of the snowy peak,we headed to our second camp, which is Ananta,

Day 3Ananta - Montaña Arco Iris - Qesuno - Cusco

Today is a very special day because we visit the famous mountain of colors and its wonderful view, we wake up at 4:00 am, the purpose is to arrive early to this beautiful place, the walk starts uphill until we reach the Ananta pass (15,090 feet- 4500m-14,000 feet) from where you can see this incredible Rainbow Mountain also called Mountain of 7 colors, then we begin to descend and surround a small lagoon until we reach the Mountain of 7 colors where you will have a panoramic view of this fantastic place and the red valley which is 30 minutes behind the Vinicunca mountain, later we will go to the final point of the trek where our transport will pick us up to take us to the city of Cusco.
