The pick up will be in our private transport at 3:00 am at your hotel, we go to Capuliyoc (2,850m/9,408ft), a wonderful place surrounded by mountains and the great Apurimac canyon, It is in this place where we begin the trek . We organize our equipment so that we can then begin our adventure and take our first steps towards a great experience. We will descend for 3 hours until we reach Chikisca, where we will have our first lunch, after enjoying this delicious lunch we continue with the walk until we reach Santa Rosa (1900m / 6235ft), to then camp in this wonderful place and after tasting our hot drinks and snacks, our tents will already be installed to rest. go out and enjoy the sunset.
Our first sunrise surrounded by mountains, a cup of coffee or coca tea which will be served in your tent, then we will have our nutritious breakfast to start our 2-hour hike uphill until we reach Maranpata, a beautiful place. with some houses of the local people, most of the people of Maranpata are farmers and muleteers, we continue with our walk until we reach Choquequirao (3,111 m / 10,120 feet) at this place you will only find very few visitors or perhaps none.Choquequirao is one of the last Inca refuges after the arrival of the Spaniards and today its popularity goes Growing up, after having lunch and exploring we return to our camp to taste our snacks and rest for the next day.
After our breakfast we say goodbye to this magnificent place, and return along the same path until we reach the Apurímac River (1,450m/4,787ft), we will cross the bridge and then continue with the uphill walk until we reach the lookout point. from Capuliyoc, where you can see the flight of the condor, the largest flying bird in the world, a fantastic place to enjoy our last lunch and say goodbye with our horseman and his horses, and then return to the city of Cusco
